Mercenaries 2: World in Flames, often abbreviated as "Mercs 2", is the sequel to 2005's Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction.
Overview[]
The game is set in present-day Venezuela, where a tyrant tampering with the country's oil supply quickly turns the country in a warzone. The main character is an unnamed mercenary, who has joined this fight as a way to make money, but is also on a quest for revenge. The main goal is to execute the contracts given to the player while creating as much chaos as possible. The game allows for cooperative multiplayer, where the player can team up with a friend to take on the story mode. There is no competitive multiplayer.
